CCR's staff consists of biologists, environmental scientists, and support staff of whom almost all have advanced degrees. CCR is owned by Christian Crow who has over 28 years experience conducting natural resource studies. The CCR staff has conducted biological monitoring studies in nearly every state in the eastern U.S., including every southeastern state, and has federal and state scientific collection permits for most species in the southeast.
Christian W. Crow
Christian Crow is one of the founding principals of CCR Environmental, Inc.He received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology at Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Fisheries Science at Louisiana State University.
Mr. Crow has over 28 years experience in aquatic ecology/biology and has conducted biological surveys across the country from New York to Hawaii.He is listed as the Senior Aquatic Biologist on all of CCR’s state scientific collection permits (GA, TN, AL, FL, SC) and the federal fish and wildlife permit and has worked extensively with most state and federal natural resource agencies in Georgia and the surrounding states.Mr. Crow is also a NAUI certified open-water SCUBA diver.
Mr. Crow has served as a Project Manager and Senior Aquatic Ecologist on a variety of task order contracts with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), including the only State-wide Fish and Mussel Survey contract ever issued by GDOT, as well as Ecology study and NEPA contracts.He served as the Project Manager on the first Ecology Study contract ever issued by the Tennessee Department of Transportation.He is also a certified NPDES Erosion Control Specialist in Georgia and Tennessee.

Jeffrey C. Pittman
Jeffrey Pittman is a staff Biologist for CCR Environmental, Inc.He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Kennesaw State University, which included considerable GIS course work.
Mr. Pittman has over 10 years experience with CCR and since joining the company has worked primarily on projects involving aquatic biological and water quality monitoring.He has performed numerous fish and mollusk surveys in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, and South Carolina.Mr. Pittman has also assisted with a variety of ecology studies for the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Mr. Pittman is listed under CCR’s federal Fish and Wildlife permit that covers nearly every protected fish and mollusks in the southeastern United States.He is also a certified NPDES Erosion Control Specialist in Georgia (Level 1a) and Tennessee.

Randy Ficarrotta is a staff Biologist for CCR Environmental, Inc. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology at The University of Georgia, with coursework focused in the areas of Fisheries Science and Ecology.
Mr. Ficarrotta has 5 years of experience in environmental consulting. His professional experience includes water quality monitoring studies, ecological studies, wetland delineations, protected species surveys, GIS/GPS mapping, Stream Buffer Variance, Section 404 Permitting, and Section 7 Consultations. He has managed projects for private development, public transportation, public utilities, municipal governments, as well as state and federal natural resource agencies.
During and after college, Mr. Ficarrotta worked with various research professionals in UGA’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, the Odum School of Ecology, as well as the UGA River Basin Center. He also worked as a Marine Fisheries Technician for GDNR’s Coastal Resource Division and Skidaway Institute of Oceanography.
Cindy D. Nunez
Cindy Nunez, the Office Manager for CCR Environmental, Inc., is responsible for the physical facility and infrastructure for the office.She coordinates human resource functions, which include orientation, employee payroll and communication with outside vendors of office services. She also provide executive support, bookkeeping and records management, technical support, marketing efforts, database management and web site design and updates.
Ms. Nunez has more than 20 years of office management experience and joined CCR in February of 2008.
